Green Table Acropora sp.

Green Table Acropora (Acropora sp.), just added to display tank. Picture taken June 2006, Nikon D70 Digital SLR, Sigma 105mm macro lens This picture of an unidentified species of acropora was taken just after it was added to the display tank. It has long extended polyps like a millipora but does not seem to be growing like one. This is in the upper most part of the tank with very high flow rates. Hopefully it will be able to adapt to this location. UPDATE: This coral was lost in a heat wave during August 2006. Tank temperatures reached over 86F.
