Unidentifed Acropora spp.
Picture was taken in October 1999 with a Minolta 7000 SLR, ASA 200, No Flash (Scanned) Obtained October 11th, 1999. This unidentified frag was given to me by Jim Fox (aka MiNdErAsR). It has nice bright blue growing tips, although in the picture two of them look purple. They are in fact more bluish. As pictured this coral is about 1 inch wide and 1 inch high. Taken during its second week of being in the tank. |
Unidentifed Acropora spp.
Picture was taken in August 2000 with a Nikon Coolpix 950 Digital Camera, No Flash This shows the coral 9 months later, it has gotten quite a bit larger and is getting pretty close to its nearest coral. A small patch of Bryopsis can be seen growing under the coral in this picture. A bright green Montipora sp. can be seen growing in the background. This coral was lost in December 2000, overgrown by Bryopsis. |
