Picture taken February 2006, Nikon D70 Digital SLR, Sigma 105mm Macro lens This was sold as a green and pink Acropora florida seems a bit brown to me. If I squint my eyes enough I can pretend to see pink and green shades. Perhaps it will really color up. |

Picture taken February 2006, Nikon D70 Digital SLR, Sigma 105mm Macro lens Closeup of the polyp extension. I have my doubts to the species claimed however the coral is to small to show many of the characteristic features of A. florida such as short stubby sub-branches. |

Picture taken May 2006, Nikon D70 Digital SLR, Sigma 105mm Macro lens This is the main parent colony of the coral pictures above. The coral has picked up a nice greenish color. The parent colony displayed here was lost in a heat wave during August 2006. However, the frag displayed above survived fine. |
