Automatic Pellet Feeder

This is a very high quality, accurate and easy to use test kit. I am very happy with all my LaMotte test kits. In fact if I could afford it, all my test kits would be LaMotte or Hatch kits -- they are the best kits.

This kit requires a bit of time to complete. Add 2.5ml of tank water to the titration tube, then dilute to 5ml with reagent acid and wait 2 minutes. Add 0.1 grams of reagent powder and invert 60 times in one minute. Wait 10 minutes for the reagents to change color. Finally match color to water samples provided in the Nitrate-N Comparator (show far left in picture).

This kit also comes with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) as a reminder that these kits are not toys. This kit in particular contains Cadmium Powder which is a cancer hazard.

These kits are not cheap, but once you buy them, you only need to buy refill kits which are very cheap.
