Salifert Ammonia Test Kit

Like most Salifert test kits this one is not very difficult to use Overall this is a decent test kit.

Typically testing for Ammonia is only needed during the inital tank cycling process or when you suspect something has died and may be rotting.

Instructions are fairly straight forward:

1) Add 2ml of water using the syringe.

2) Fill the 1ml syringe with 1.00ml NH3 reagent.

3) Add 0.5ml to test vial and swirl for 30 seconds. Add the remaining 0.5ml and swirl for 10 seconds.

4) Wait 5 minutes.

5) Swirl for 5 seconds and compare color to color chart.
